Are there cruises all year round?
Cruises run from April to October.
As the sailing conditions are not favourable, the boat does not sail during the winter months.

The boat departs almost every day, depending on the availability calendar.

Remember to find out in advance and book!


How long does a cruise last?
It depends on the cruise chosen.
For meal cruises, the durations are 3 hours, 5 hours or 7 hours.
For stroll and aperitif cruises, the duration is 1h30.


Do cruises only take place on weekends?
Cruises take place every day during the season from April to October.
You can consult the schedule of available dates to find out the program of the different cruises (3h, 5h, 7h, etc.) in the OFFERS section.


I would like to take a 5-hour Avoise cruise, does it take place every day?
The boat sails almost every day in season following a schedule defined in advance.
We offer several itineraries and durations. In the ""Offer"" section, select the option that interests you to find out the available dates.


Do you need to book well in advance?
For cruises with meals and aperitif cruises, reservations are essential.
As the number of places is limited, some dates may be full several weeks in advance. Remember to book as early as possible.
For sightseeing cruises (without meals), reservation is not obligatory, but strongly recommended.


I have a 6 month old baby, should I reserve a place for him?
Yes, absolutely. The boat has a capacity and safety equipment linked to the number of passengers. Baby counts as one passenger.


I have a mobility problem, can I access the boat?
Access to the boat is via 4 steps.Our crew will do their utmost to facilitate your access.
Do not hesitate to call us before booking.


I am allergic to fish, can we change the menu?
The menu served on board depends on the cruise chosen. It is the same for all passengers.
In case of intolerance, allergy or specific diet, please let us know when booking so that we can adapt your menu. The menu will not be modifiable on the day of the cruise.


Can my dog travel with me?
Our animal friends are not accepted on board (except guide dogs).


What are the payment options available ?
We accept all the usual means of payment: Cash, credit card, checks, holiday vouchers.


Should you arrive early?
The time indicated on your reservation corresponds to the boat's departure time.
For cruises with meals, we invite you to arrive 30 minutes before the departure of the cruise, for boarding 15 minutes before the indicated time.
For ""walk"" cruises, we advise you to arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure time.


I'm coming by car, how can I find you?
The port is located in downtown Sablé-Sur-Sarthe, next to the church.
The address: Bateau Le Sablésien - Quai National - 72300 Sablé-Sur-Sarthe
Parking is free with plenty of spots nearby.

(Avoid the blue zone: limited duration and obligation to display a disc)
In case of heavy traffic, you will find a large car park at ""Place du Marché aux Porcs"".
To get there, follow the river for 200 meters.


I would like to offer a cruise, how do I do it?
It's a good idea, which will definitely please you.
To offer a cruise, create a gift card in a few steps:

- Go to the sectionGIFT CARDS
- Choose the cruise you want to offer (Discovery 3 hours, Avoise 5 hours, etc.).
- Add the cards to your basket, you can personalize each card.
- Enter your contact details.
- Validate your basket and proceed to payment.


You will immediately receive the gift card to print by email
All you have to do is offer it
Whoever receives the gift will simply have to contact us to choose the date.

 

I was offered a gift card, how do I reserve?
You can book directly on our website:
In the OFFERS section, select the formula indicated on your gift card (Découverte 3H, Avoise 5H, etc.)
Choose an available date and add to your cart.
When paying, validate your basket and enter the code(s) indicated on your gift card.
You will immediately receive confirmation of your reservation by email.
You prefer to book by telephone, call us, we will be happy to welcome you.


I received a gift card for a 3-hour cruise but I would like to do a 5-hour cruise instead, is this possible?
In principle, gift cards are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
That being said, the idea of a cruise is first and foremost to have fun.
If you prefer a cruise format other than that indicated on your gift card, call us, we will do our best to offer you a solution.


How long are gift cards valid?
Gift cards are valid for the current or future season.
To take advantage of your gift card, remember to book as early as possible, ideally from the start of the season.
As the number of places is limited, some dates may be full several weeks in advance.


I received a gift card, the date is expiring, can we postpone it for next year?
Gift cards have a validity period, they are no longer valid beyond the deadline.
This being said, if you realize that you will not be able to reserve in time, please call us before the end of the validity period so that we can offer you a postponement solution.
